Welcome to the twelfth issue of 6th Generation's Pokemon of the Week! This week, just the same as last year, we'll be celebrating my birthday by discussing my favorite Pokemon! This week, we discuss Blaziken. Torchic houses a flame sac inside its belly that burns perpetually. Because of this, hugging it feels very warm.
It can clear a story building in a leap. Its fiery punches scorch its foes. When facing a tough foe, it looses flames from its wrists. Its powerful legs let it jump clear over buildings. It learns martial arts that use punches and kicks. Every several years, its old feathers burn off, and new, supple feathers grow back in their place. Flames spout from its wrists, enveloping its knuckles.
The only thing that prevents Blaziken for being an unstoppable sweeper is its rather mediocre Speed. Thunderpunch hits Gyarados harder while as well as Slowbro and Starmie. A Choice Band variant of the previous set. The moves work just like as in the Choice Scarf set, with Focus Punch being a nice alternative to Thunderpunch now.
Welcome one and all to another special Pokemon of the Week. This week, in celebration of my birthday week, I will be covering my most favorite Pokemon. That's right
